Bargain Haul

Fragrancedirect.co.uk has to be one of my favourite sites to get discounted beauty products from. They stock a huge amount of brands including Revlon, Bourgeois and Sally Hansen to name a few. The best part is that everything's a minor fraction of the price and as standard delivery is less than £2, it's easy to get a lot of make up without spending a ton.

I ordered all of this on Friday for under £12 and had received it by Wednesday! Very good value for money.

I've ordered with them a few times before as I love the amount of high street products they sell, my favourites being Essie nail varnishes for £1.99 as I doubt I would ever buy them full price in Boots as I can't quite justify £7 for a nail polish.

In my most recent haul, I purchased 2 Dainty Doll eyeliner pencils at 99p each, 4 Revlon polishes also at 99p each (a complete steal considering they usually retail for £6.99), 2 Rimmel eyeshadows again at 99p each, an Essie polish for £1.99 and a Sally Hansen Maximum Growth nail varnish for 99p.

Over the next couple of weeks I intend to test all of these products out thoroughly and let you know how it goes!

Do you use discount sites? What's been your biggest steal to date?

Fresh Start

I've tried beauty blogging before (was formerly Frilly Socks & Tea) but due to lack of time and energy I gave up. The thought of trying again with the same blog made me feel nauseous so I decided that the only way I'd start again properly was to have a completely fresh start, new me new blog etc. and so Sophie's Maquillage was born...
Hopefully with this one I'll be much more regular with posting; I'm aiming for around 2/3 posts a week with content varying from product reviews to outfit posts and a weekly round up of Instagram photos. You can follow my personal Instagram here.
My first post should be up in the next couple of days and I look forward to reading your thoughts and suggestions!
